Language Passport - FIDE

Our language school has been teaching French as a foreign language (FLE) since 1979. We offer a wide range of French training to companies and individuals. Whether for FLE training or to learn beginner French, the Ardevaz SLS school offers a tailor-made formula.

Our goal is to offer our students an ideal environment to learn French in the best conditions. Our reputation for excellence has been forged over time thanks to the quality of our French courses and also to a team of teachers who know how to provide personalized attention to the needs and difficulties of each student. Many of our students extend their French courses in our school.

FIDE Test

Evaluate your level

The FIDE test certifies oral and written language skills in German, French and Italian. It was specially designed for daily life in Switzerland, on behalf of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM).

Oral and written skills are assessed separately and the language passport can certify the levels reached (A1, A2 or B1) for job search, naturalization or a residence or establishment permit.

The FIDE test is divided into two parts: “Speaking and understanding” and “Reading and writing”.

Oral and written skills are assessed separately and can take place on two different days during the same week.

About 4 weeks after the test, the FIDE Secretariat will send you, directly by post, your language passport indicating your results (A1, A2 or B1).
